CJ, why do you think that Triple F has better conditions than MF? I have
not seen ANY data at all on their conditions. Has anyone here? When
jumping from a frying pan it's always wise to try to avoid the fire, but
you can't know WHERE the fire is unless you check first... (friendly
reminder)

Warp: I don't think I was very clear. She has NOT bruised any more since
coming home and we do know what signs need to send us in to the vet's
rapidly with a blood donor ferret along. She's acting just as happy as can
be despite the catheter, the bandage, and the huge wound, but too active
for so soon after major surgery with a complication. She's already trying
to trick us by eating in secret; that's a good sign.

We also never have a ferret loose in a moving vehicle. They are held or in
cages at such times. Risks should have good reasons. Have done some very
dangerous things in the past because I simply wanted to -- like jungle
work, wild animal handling, and some types of prospecting in the 70s -- but
those were not casual risks. I chose them with strong reasons. We used
to know a number of aerobatic pilots back when we'd help film them for a
friend's video company; they'd do all sorts of wild things in the air,
but they knew their planes and their moves, they did their abs exercises
religiously, and many simply would not drive on Friday or Saturday nights
during times when people bar hop, nor would they smoke cigarettes because
those are casual risks and not worth their skins.

It's normal for ferrets to use the scents of genitalia -- nothing perverted
about it, just their norm. Critters just don't fig leaf around; that's
all. Hey, some human populations freak at the exposure of legs, other go
wild with a loose breast here or there, some can't have a head hair
revealed. Human create these preferences; that's part of culture. It's
not the ferret whose approach is unnatural, but the humans; we like to
make things that way -- to affect our environment -- as a species.

If they did have documented details I expect they'd sue the heck out of
the place doing it to stop the practise. Any large breeder would if for
no other reason than to stop a practise which drains cash away form their
business. As others have said, there are MANY reasons to get in touch
directly...

Strongly agreed.

"Triple H"?  Do you mean Hagan?  Triple F?  Never have heard of a Triple H;
tell us more...
