My daughters last remaining ferret that she adopted from a friend about
three years ago is gone...she came home from work last night and she
noticed there was alot of dark tarry stool and that he had labored
breathing.  He never made it to the vet and judging by the stool color
I suspect a blockage since he appeared to be eating and drinking earlier
in the day.
 
Barney was named after Barnabas the vampire from the old gothic soap
Dark Shadows.  My daughter knew that I loved the show.
