I was wondering about the effects of second hand smoke on our pets. Is
there any research done on this. I am a big time smoker, but since I
had a hedgehog develop cancer tumors and had to be put to sleep, I have
been worried.

Does anyone know? I keep my ferrets in my bedroom/workroom with me.
With the windows, shut due to heat am afraid they are getting too much
second hand smoke. I removed my bird and the other hedgehog due to
this. I love my fuzzy babies. And if that means going outside to have
a cigarette then I will.

Thanks for any advice on this. But please just advice, don't put me down
cause I smoke. I have a lot of things going on right now and I just
can't give it up. But petting a fuzzy instead of smoking is always more
fun. I always put mine out if a little comes around to be loved.
