Lt. Chipper and Sgt. Gina reporting in from the Gunter outpost:
 
Captain Smokey a.k.a. Smoker Bear received a promotion to General and
has left the Downs' outpost for the outpost known as Heaven on Monday,
October 25.
 
He was a courageous field trooper and an example to all of us FLO soldiers.
Cpt. Smokey spent a great deal of time at the Northwoods AH, NC infirmary
this third quarter after a third combat wound known as code name EAT (Evil
Adrenal Tumor).  Gallant efforts by his MAW (Mobile Awesome Women) and Dr.
Hudson and his staff were made to keep him functioning in our global
activities.  Smoker Bear was widely known for his stealth night time
maneuvers, raisin stealing, kibble storing, and leader of the 4-pack (Lil
Girl, Giggles, and Shadow).
 
As the Down's eastern, NC squadron frequently traveled to and bunked at our
piedmont outpost, we will sorely miss the esteemed handsome sable soldier.
We have secured a confidential transmission that he is at the Rainbow
Bridge reunited with Corporal Sammie and they both will keep a close look
out for the rest of us to arrive when it's our time.
