Question - I have seen comments that the vitamin A content of some ferret
supplements is too high and that the supplement should be cut with olive
oil to protect my fuzzies from getting too much. It seems odd to me that
a supplement made especially for ferrets would be formulated in such a way
that it would cause problems.

Does this problem really exist or is it just overprotective mommys and
daddys? Is it just vitamin A? If the supplement must be cut, what is the
best type of oil to use?

Thanks for the input. Would you please e-mail me privately, as well as the
list, so I don't overlook any answers?
