Maybe everbody already knows this, but just in case.....

A lot of people have been asking about good foods for their ferrets, and
Totally Ferret often comes up; usually someone is frustrated because they
can't get it.

(Somewhat) recently SUPERDOG (a major pet food distributor) took charge of
distributing TF, making it much easier to get. The pet shop nearest me
doesn't normally carry TF, but I told them the name and that they could get
it from Superdog, and bingo, three days later I have 30 pounds of it, which
will prolly feed my two for 8 months. It cost me about $35.

When I first took my ferts to the vet (Dr. Kupersmith,) he asked what I
fed them, and when I said Totally Ferret, he said something on the order of
"Good. That's really the best ferret food out there."

And the kids eat it. That's always a plus.

The nickname thing is way way over, but the other night at a Chinese
restaurant, I discovered the bestest name for Casper (MF albino male.)...

TOFU.

It's perfect- Casper's white and sort of amorphous, and not to be unkind,
but he's not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, if you acquire my drift.
He's often very slug-like and lazy. So now I often call him tofu-brain, and
if he actually perks up, tahini-head. Oh well. It makes ME giggle, anyway.
