Hi--

My experience with ferrets and my vet says their skeletion finishes growing
at 6 mos. Some ferrets may fill out a bit more. All my boys are bigger in
the winter with winter weight and long coats. In the summer, a bit less
bulk and short coats. All my boys weight in at 4-4.5#.

My biggest ferret was a fat overweight boy named Buckshot who got ECE and
went form solid muscle to flab over a period of 5 mos. He never got back
his muscle tone. His ideal wight should've been 4.5#.
