Hi,

I's your Vet a ferret savvy Vet?

Such protocol as prescribed would be suggestive of not looking into
the bowel irritation further. Has fecal histology been done? the Fr
has to know exactly what bacteria, or virus, he/she will be treating.

Also, ahs a food allergy been considered in diagnosis?

Nix the Pepto- Bismal, this contains sub-salycilatrs that may agravate
the issue. There is an older vetrinary product called Kaolin-Pectin
that can be found on line at.

And probably at many more rural farm and feed stores.
