I have a female ferret that recently turned three. She has suddenly
started showing signs of jealousy. I f I am playing with another fuzzy she
will quit playing with me and go lie down. She now wants play time to be
all hers. She is not very hyper she likes the games where she gets to hide
and you get to seek. She suddenly wants a lot of attention as to where she
used to not. If I start to play with her she will run to her nearest toy
and insist on playing that game only. It is usually a box that she hides
in and she likes for you to try and tickle her through one of the small
openings. Thankfully she is very gentle. Sorry if this is scrambled, but
I am baffled. She makes me feel guilty if I play with my other fuzzies. I
know it isn't fair to the others but sometimes I take her out of the cage
earlier than the others and let her play in the non ferret room. It is
non-ferret because my other two destroy the carpet in there for some
reason. Is this normal with ferrets as they get older, to be more needy?

2. A while back someone gave me the name of an excellent vet in Portland
and my computer crashed and I have lost the information I stored. I had a
folder for all ferret info I wanted to save, and it is all gone. I never
had the chance to use this vet due to my sudden illness, and
hospitalization. Could someone please e-mail me again with good Portland
Oregon vets. I am actually in Gresham but will travel.

In advance thank You for all your help
Diana
