For the ferret-owned one with a mouse in the house.

I would not worry so much about the mouse hurting your
ferrets as the ferrets hurting/killing the mouse. We have
had mice in our house in North Carolina and one ferret at
the time killed 3 of them, and then brought them to me as
some sort of pride-thing. I tell you I was overjoyed.

Then, last year, my husband (then boyfriend) was living in
an apt. when Sparky (our boy) got into the walls. The manager
of the building told him that they had a lot of mice in the
building and (wink) wouldn't it be good if he cleaned them
out. Well, 3 days later, Sparky was rescued from the wall,
and he was a lot fatter than went he went in, and there has
been no scratching from mice in the building since.

From my understanding, ferret feces (say that 3X's fast) is
supposed to ward off mice, just the thought that they are there
is supposed to scare them. I don't know where I heard this,
but, just a thought.

Good luck,
Susan, Darel, and the might fuzz-rats -- Roo, Sparky, and Boing
