Today was Sunny and brisk in the morning. I recently met a neighbor:a
computer geek-- while sitting on a park bench kissing and talking to my
deaf ferret Little. We started out conversation discussing Little, and
discovered we both like computer games and hiking.

Corey kinda has to talk slowly, keeps thrusting his glasses back up on his
nose, and has a house with flooring that looks worse than mine without any.
I think I like him.

We took Little and hiked for about 3 hours. ** I have a red fox with 3 or
4 gray kits off in what was the thicket next to the field. ** It is just
trees now. All the bushes were torn out. Little was very interested in
the smells. Mom and cubs did not go far. They never left our site. I
am thrilled. ( Went back tonight and left over 5 pounds of cat food.)

We went into these tangled thorny woods a few blocks away following a
deer trail across a murky stream until it came to a marshy area with fowl
aplenty. Little sat in his pouch with his little head sticking up until
he fell asleep or had to poop.

Computer geek, red fox and babies, snuggling my dear Little on a shiny
Sunday.

What a great day.
Lisette
