Someone who knows a topic well enough has a grasp of how very little she or he actually knows, and sees the blanks which need investigation. It is those who do not understand a topic who appoint themselves instant experts, and the best thing they can do is not to expect others to provide them with shortcuts and not waste the time of others, but to actually learn the topics.
