Update From Master Largo At Lakeroad Ferret Farm & Shelter
Okay so it has not been that long since mum let me on the puter, but I
gots to tell you lots has happened since the last time I sent out a new
report. First of all we are jamed full here at the shelter, and mum has
two biters coming in today for her to fix.. (I knows she can fix them
too cuz she fixed me! I is a lover not a fighter now) My magic fingers
doc fixed me so I am not uncomfortable any more with that golf ball size
thing in my groin area. Mum needs to get my stitches out yet but I am
feeling much better, tho I am still doing my aggressive, possessive
thing, I figure I will give it all it is worth. Mum tells humans that it
takes 30 days or so before the hormones calm down, so that should give me
a few extra days to keep it up. ;-). I still chase mum out of the room
when she is leaving, grab hold of her pant leg (you do not wear shorts,
sandals, or sun dresses in this house) then pull. I almost had her back
in the ferret room yesterday but she won the tug-o-war! Oh well.
Lets see what is going on? We have new kids in here..

need another kid named Baby in here.

Mum had to take 4 fur kids in to see our favorite Doc for surgeries.
Smokey had a left dreanal surgery, Reset had a very, very big hairball
removed, I had to have that pesky golf ball yucky thing removed from my
groin and Speedy had insulinoma surgery. Okay Mum just told me it is
Adrenal Surgery not what I called it! GEEEEZZZZZ . We still have four
girls that are adrenal that need to go in soon. Oh yeah Marianna died
she was real tired and sick so she left for rainbow bridge.
We have the Drew kid here for the holiday weekend his buddy Jazzy died
just before they camed to stay at camp.
Then there are the Deutsch kids they are here for camp too.
Genny has come to checkout the new kids here, she lost her buddy Isaac a
few weeks ago, so she is looking for a new buddy, mum says she may or may
not want one, but she seemed to be okay with Sir Biscuit and Sir Gravy
yesterday. She don't like Eddie!!!! So them kids may have a home!
Yeahhhhhhh get them kids otta here, I need my mum back!
Mum was helpen Aunt Judy and Uncle Dave with their sick baby Gadgit...
they took her to see our favorite Doc... He says nope it is not this
but it looks like that and now they gots a time set up to have her all
better!!!! She even likes soup now! You go girl!! Bring that little
chick over here to Master Largo I will fix her up! hehehehehe Nah I
would be nice to her.
Lets see what else.. Friday July 4 Paul and Sara camed to see the new
kids.. they helped mum get our food and water dishes cleaned and filled,
they brought mum lots of papers for us too. Yesterday July 5.. We had
lots and lots of humans stop to see us, help mum and just drop in.
Started out with Deb and Holly the new forever home that took the two
girls Lilly and Iris, they camed to get the girls soup. Then Aunt Stacie
stopped to say hi, she helped mum put a new base under the new kids
cage... they stunked it up with poopie and mum said that is bad! Bad
kids bad! so they gots that done. Then Genny and her humans camed to
play with some of the new kids... it was waaaay to hot for them to play
out in the play pen so they hads to stay in the library/play area. Then
Jessica and her mum camed to help out... Oh boy did they help... Cindy
the mom, cleaned up lots and lots and lots of cans and bottles for mum to
take back 3 whole Hugh plastic bags full.. Then they tooks 2 dirty bags
home with them to clean and take back for mum... mum is waaaaay behind
in the can cleaning business! Jessica took Fred out to the play pen to
play..( yep I know I told you it was too hot. but it was later in the
afternoon, Fred is white and he has this tunnel he is excavating under
the sand box so he is underground most the whole time he is out there.
What a mess he was when he camed in, mum had to run him through the
wash... Jessica tried but Fred was having nothing of it.. Jessica did
not know he don't like water real well so when she put him under the
faucet he freaked! Mum camed out to save him. Mum holds him up then
runs her hands under the faucet then over his coat. She thought she was
going to have to use shampoo but it all camed off so she didn't. Thanks
Jessica for letting Fred out to play. (Anyone out there want to come
take kids out to play can come, mum said) Oh yeah, the home that we
thought Fred was going to decided that ferrets were a bit more work than
they had time for so Fred is staying here. We is thankful that the
family made the correct choice for them.
Mum is putt'en together a real cool raffle for summertime. she thinks
you guys will like it lots. Aunt Stacie can't come to help any more cuz
she is a Nanny so she has lots of two legged furless kids to care for now
that it is summer time. Aunt Steph and Uncle Tom has been real busy with
their own stuffs so they don't gets here much any more. BUT Uncle Tom
told mum he would make her up some more sleep boxes cuz we is allllll out
of sleep boxes for any of the new kids. I got mine tho!
Stacie drops in to mow our playpen for us.. Mum still don't has a push
mower she can do it with.
The Clinic was great but wet. Doc was great as always, he got to meet
new fur kids so that is a good thing for them fur kids. The raffle for
the carving made mum's (actually or favorite Doc lots of money. Mum and
Mr. Bob are talking about Mr. Bob doing another one for us. I thinks I
is going to get Mr. Bob to do a likeness of me! Master Largo the bestest
kid in the shelter! Mr. Bob is talking about doing a bigger one in
Cherry for Atlanta but mum don't know if he is gonna be able to or not
cuz Atlanta is just around the corner!
Well Mum says it is time for me to get off the puter so until next month
I is going to say sooooo Long you humans .. Have a great safe summer and
COME SEE ME!!!!!
