Dooks and thanks to all who contacted me when I sent out a frantic plea for
ferret sitters - I hope I e-mailed everybody with thanks - if I missed you,
know that your offer or advice is greatly appreciated, and a special thank
you to Ben in Cleveland who called to offer help.  My next door neighbors
got a crash course in ferret care and a list of contacts for ferret
info/advice, and since my kids are all young and healthy I felt ok leaving
them them for a few days.  Everyone was really glad to see me, and even
though it was wll after midnight when I got in, we played and hugged for
quite a while!
 
I took Snickers out on his leash to enjoy the snow - a first for the former
Tucson weezils.  He was definitely NOT impressed, and looked at me as if to
ask why he was being treated so cruelly!  My six were accustomed to going
outside and digging in dirt, not this nasty cold stuff.  I'll try bringing
some in and letting them play in it in the bathtub....wish I'd had a camera
to catch the look on his face!
