Thought you should know about this incident to prevent future happenings:
 
A double door (with openings on the top and in the front) deluxe pet
carrier...23 inches long - 14 1/2 wide -11 3/4 high...the front has two
small black rubber tip coverings, to squeeze together to open...the
black rubber tips can be taken off very easily by a ferret and swallowed.
 
I did catch the ferret in time to prevent swallowing of the black rubber
tip.
