I think if you come from a place of caring - then you are doing the
right thing.

From that place of caring, I don't believe decisions can then be
reduced to a matter of 'right' or 'wrong'. You make decisions based
on what is best for your beloved fuzzy, and on what you can
'realistically' provide toward his/her healing. Key is REALISTICALLY.

I believe people beat themselves up with a lot of "should have done
this or should have done that". In truth you are doing your best
because you love your little guy. You are seeking information from
experienced ferret lovers. You are not ignoring that information but
putting it into the mix to help you make decisions about his care.

Heck - sounds like he's a lucky little fuzzy to have you in his corner!
And I have absolutely no doubt - that he knows it!
