Hi all
 
I need to know if anyone else on this list sent money to Rae E
([log in to unmask]) for her raffle she was holding to pay some medical bills
for her kids that was posted to this list..  This raffle started mid
June and was to run through July 17th.  I have e-mailed this person on 3
separate occasions to find out if the raffle was drawn and who the
winners were.  I was responded to only the first time.
 
Has anyone had contact with Rae?  I have tried posting to the list to see
if she would answer but so far no luck.  I don't like to think the worse
of people but it looks like this may have been a scam.  The raffle site
is no longer up and she is not responding to e-mails:(
 
This is the first time I have supported a private raffle ( I know what it
is like to have sick ferrets and be trying to get enough funds together)
and I am sorry to say it will be my last.  It is very sad that things
like this ruin it for the people who honestly run their raffles to
support their furry families.  I know how much my shelter raffles and
e-bay items have helped the shelter kids.  If anyone has any info about
this please let me know.  I guess the lesson is to beware :(
