Just a couple of quick things -

Slinky and Pogo both have always come running to a squeak toy. It
didn't take long to train Slinky to come get a lick of linatone when he
comes to the source of the sound. Now I never have to manually put him
back in his cage at night - just squeak the toy, and he knows to run into
his sleeper shelf and wait for his ferretone or linatone drop. I am
working on training Pogo to do the same thing.

Slinky is also nuts about bottle caps, and does the exact same thing.
There are bottle caps all over our house, and he is very protective of
each and every one. If there is nothing else to do, he will go over to
one and bite along the ridged edge - it was neat to know there is at
least one other ferret out there that does the same thing!

Best - Mason, Slinky ("I like Dr. Pepper best, dad"),
Pogo ("Why are you squeaking, dad? I'll save you!"),
and Leila the cat (who definitely prefers any crunchy
foor to squeak toys or bottle caps!).
