Hi,

I don't know who the anonymous poster was refering to about the ferret with
ADV in the Pacific NW, but I can also state that we have an ADV positive
ferret that came into our shelter in Eastern Washington. He has never been
in any shows to my knowledge, but just wanted to second the idea that if
you think you're safe just because you live in WA., think again. I no
longer take in any ferrets, nor do we attend any shows, he is the only
one that has tested positive in my group so far, but he also appears to
be suffering from it clinically as he has hypergammaglobinemia and has
many health problems.

Julie
