We give our 9 year old female, who has adrenal tumors and insulinoma, a
mixture of baby food, heavy whipping cream, and her prednisone. I know for
sure that 1 teaspoon a day should be just fine. Occasionally, I think that
I have used a little more, and there are no problems. If I get too heavy
handed, Tabu's poops get a little runnier. When I first tried to give Tabu
just the baby food, she wouldn't take it at all. Since I have started using
the heavy whipping cream, there is no problem. I have found that of the
chicken, turkey, and beef flavors, she prefers the chicken. Once a day we
add Ferretone and a drop of vitamin B-12 and one of B-Complex to the
mixture. We are also adding a small amount of Brewer's yeast to the mixture
twice a day. I found Brewer's yeast tablets in a health food store, and we
just crush them up. Her weight and energy level have improved tremendously
since we started all of this about 6 weeks ago. You do want to make sure
that Tieke is also eating her regular food. This mixture should be a
supplement to help even out the blood sugar levels. I don't know whether or
not it's a coincidence, but her adrenal tumors have gone into remission
since we started doing this.

Hope this helps Tieke feel better!!
