I just got back from Ferret Frolic Potluck sponsored by Ferrets Northwest.
What a blast!  This was my first experience at a fuzzie gathering.  There
was a tube race (my fuzzies lost), yawning contest (my fuzzies lost),
balloon popping contest (my fuzzies lost), and a drag race (my fuzzies
lost).  There were two vets that gave short presentations on ferret health
followed by a question-and-answer session.  There were also some of the most
beautiful ferrets I have ever seen.  I always thought that my Timon was a
handsome guy.  One woman had a "Siamese" ferret.  He had the most beautiful
coat I have ever seen.  Hobbes did manage to cause some embarrassment.  He
got inside a young lady's sweatshirt and down her sleeve.  She had a bit of
trouble getting him out, but was success, compromising just a tiny bit of
modesty.  Lots of pictures were taken and I hope that they will appear
somewhere on the Net.  Nice job, Edward!!
