Oh my gosh, I had to save Da Big Boss today. I walked by and Jack was
in his arms, licking his face. Da Boss's nose was red and nearly raw.
I had to call him off, with the temptation of gravy! It was the only
way to get him off his nose.

Jack has been a real corker for an old guy. Good lord! He waltzed over
that bridge and right into our hearts. His first day here, I had to stop
him from flying after kits and nipping them in the ankles. He told me
it's good for 'em. Then I had to stop him from stealing someone's socks.
He said that was good for 'em as well. Still later I had to take his
foamy fries that he was whacking passing weangels with. He knocked the
cheweasils right out of them. And he laughed the whole time, that old
wise cracker. Sigh.

So what we've done to protect ourselves is take him over to the great
soup bowl whenever he gets out of hand. He gorges himself, see ... and
then he can't get into much mischief that way. Pretty smart, ey?

He said to tell mama Linda that he knows how much he is cherished by her,
mommy Jane, Gwampy Jim and Gwanny Howwy(Holly). He'll be here waiting on
them. To terrorize them as well! She'll rethink how sweet he is then!
