Well after hiding here for awhile I decide to join in.  I saw this posted
and I have actually been sucessful using Feretone.  I just take the cover
from a gallon of milk, put a few drops in it, Put Meeko (the annoying 1 3/4
yr old male sable) on his back, place the cover on him tummy and then he
concentrates on licking every single drop and it gives ms plenty of time to
cut his nails.
