My two, Sugar and Suki do exactly the same to get on top of my fridge,
it is then an easy scramble to get onto top of the cage and throw every
thing up there to the ground. They then come down the same way, but
head first!!, to examine the spoils.

The fix, a piece of plywood on top of the fridge touching the wall and
weighted down, a ferret proof barrier, so far!!.
