I've found that the most sure-fire way to cabinet-proof my kitchen is to
place large, heavy objects in front of each cabinet door.  This way, I can
shove aside the big, clunky object, stub my toes every time i walk through
the kitchen, and still almost prevent Potpie from getting into the cabinets!
At least with heavy objects blocking the doors, I can hear her trying to get
in in time to stop her.
