Howdy,
Wanted to thanks those that responded to my request for help.You're
suggestion to take her outside as soon as I put on the harness worked like
a charm.  She did not try and spin her way out of it, though she initially
walked like a "drunk" until she got so into all the new smells she forgot
about it being there.  My son said it worked too well because about 1/2 hr
before I get home from work, she will lay down at the front door and won't
move!  When I get home she is on my feet, then to the front door, back on
my feet etc. until I take her out for her daily visit to "Smell Heaven"
 
We are a happy household again thanks to your input,
