Lucy has been steadily going dowhill, despite minor ups and down. So
today, when she stopped willingly licking food off our fingers, I
decided to take some decisive action rather than just let her drift
away.

Since there's no trusting her blood-glucose reading (w a non-ferret
meter) and, based on her symptoms, I decided to try treating her for
insulinoma.

Dr Dawit agreed it was a reasonable approach, and we started her on
prednisolone.

Wish her (and us) luck.
