HI all-
Jerimiah here--
 
You know what we gots some more treats-- really-- this time they aren't
where I can get them yet-- but I had an adventure trying yesterday!  I
climbed up to the tippity top of a cage a high one here and leaped--
boingo-- right down into a small blocked off area besides the file cabinet.
I sat there for a few hours-- And sure enough-- my bud Zippity came right
behind me-- what a guy.  When Mom found us-- we was hiding and hiding--
she kept calling and looking and guess what she couldn't find us.  I guess
I just didn't hear her- it was kind of cozy there-- but darn that Zippity
he started scritchin' and she found us!  But she jest Laughed and laughed
and said she was soo happy she found us.  Later the shelter dad ruined
everything he made sure we can't find the hidey spot anymore!  sigh......
still we got some treats at bed time!
 
Well Sterling went to the vets again and got his shot.  He is still skinny-
but the vet lady says he is sooo bright.  Now Mom has to weigh him and see
if he gains weight and about how long it takes.  hahaha that should be a
fun thing- a ferret on a scale!  I hear they's got some vampire problem
at the vets-- something about taking his blood next week-- oh my poor ol'
Sterling-- he already has those vampire teeth-- I bet he sleeps all day
after that!  Both Sterling & shelter folks want to thank Jean S, Lana S,
and Deb K for the Sterling donations this month, it rally helps with the
weekly vet trips & stuff- so they say? :)!
 
Other things has been keeping folks wound up.  Our shelter friend Buddy has
a pain in his back -- teehee but shelter Mom's not laughing.  They suspect
he fell, but no one saw when it happened, in fact he just started slowing
down -- and then had a hard time litter boxing.  ( heck I use the paper-
forget the box, too much work!) He has been on steroids but is not getting
better and shows signs of pain when moving - So, he continues on steroids,
the vets xrayed him- like some alien thing-- and said he was compressed
disc -- hmmmmm what a name to call the poor boy.  So the plan is that
they need to get the 2 1/2 year old boy a ferret wheel cart ?  Now that
sounds like fun!- and I guess them special things costs more than treats,
so they is getting donated stuff together for a special "Buddy's Cart"
ebay series -- so that they can get him up off his duff in short order.
I bet he will be like on a magic carpet ride..... pretty cool-- I hope I
can play too!  They auctions this week started with special "Ferretstock
Tee shirts"-- the funds will go to the wheelcart fund for Buddy-- and more
stuffs coming next week I hear.  Though things are getting so crazy here.
 
Photos- Oh yeah- I guess folks didn't pay attention when I said I was the
cutest ferret 'cuz more photos arrived for the Cutest Ferret Photo Contest
at "Ferretstock" Sept 9th.  Geesh-- go ahead-- send in those photos-- but
my big head is a real winner!  Email the shelter at this email for more
information.  All photos need to arrive NO LATER THAN Sep 1st!  Ebay to
