Hi, everyone. Hope your holiday was a happy and peaceful one. This is just
a quick response to Tracy & Aaron McAlpine, who said "I would like to buy my
ferrets a large hammock for Christmas & am having a hard time locating one."
I may have found the easiest solution there is. I bought a pillowcase,
sewed up the open end, and put a small buttonhole in each corner. I got
fancy and took a small tuck on both sides of the long side of the case, but
don't really think it is necessary. Hung it in my cage and it was
immediately popular. Have you ever seen 8 fuzzies sleeping in one big pile
in one hammock? They weigh a ton, especially this time of year! This has
lasted for the last six months without any damage at all, gets washed once a
week and never needs any other care. Cheap, carefree and popular! What
more can we ask for?
