Dear NH readership-

Ferrets and cats that are impounded in the state of New Hampshire under the
current Statute can be euthanized immediately. EVEN if they have
identification on them. HB1623 which has cleared the House and is now in
the Senate will require a seven day holding period for those animals before
they can be destroyed or otherwise disposed of. This bill is a good bill
and is necessary to protect the animals as well as the animal owners. IT
NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT NOW.

Please contact Sen. Burton Cohen, POB 208 New Castle, NH03854-0208 and ask
him to pass this bill as is.

Text of the entire bill can be found at

Thank you for your support-- the ferrets ( and cats) thank you too!!!!
