Ferrets can have adrenal neoplasia at times without symptoms, or start
with a sudden dangerous one (such as failure to urinate, usually by a
male), and sometimes other things cause the same symptoms. Here are some
of the symptoms which may or may not be present in any combination:

- Urinating on self
- Urinating on another
- Mounting another to a degree not seen before
- Mounting a human's arm or leg to a degree not seen before
- Being aggressive toward another to a degree not seen before
- Grooming another to a degree not seen before
- Grooming part of you -- like your toes -- to a a degree not seen
before Fur loss, esp in places other than tail and especially if the
pattern is bilateral. Sometimes loss on the tail can indicate adrenal
neoplasia but it is often from skin disorders when there. Some spots
are very common for adrenal-related fur loss like over the sacrum and
on the top of the head, but any fur loss is suspect till other
  possibilities are eliminated.
- Swelling of the vulva
- Infection of the vagina
- Urinary tract infection
- Prostate inflammation
- Fat accumulation that results in an increasingly pear shape
- Dry skin and pimples
