it's been SUCH a busy week! we had an auntie and a great-auntie visit us
from Tonawanda, NY on Thursday. it was so nice to meet another face from
the ferret list! they brought some treats and bedding with them and i got
to sleep in it!

mommie wanted me to say, "OK, who did that?!" to whomever sent the ferret
baby carriage. "it's BEAUTIFUL!" she said. "Thank you!!!"...i'm the
smarter one of the 2 of us and i'll be calling the Ferret Store to find
out who you are. then mommie can call you to thank you.

Jill, auntie Reb's kid passed away this week. she was adopted by auntie
Rebecca from us way back at Ferrets 2000. Jill had a brother, Jack, who
passed on just before Ferrets 2000 and auntie Reb decided to take Jill
and love her. We're all real sorry to hear she's gone.

Auntie Debbie's dad passed away this week too. she's been a great
volunteer to our shelter and we were all sad for her. our thoughts and
love are with her now.

Druid did well for a few days and his poop *started* too look normal.
then, he did a bad boy thingy again. he ate 1/4 of a tennis ball! now we
need to do emergency surgery AGAIN! he's still in quarantine for a bite,
but we're hoping he'll pull through this surgery and after that, NO MORE
TOYS! none of us can believe he was strong enough to bite through a big
tennis ball, but, boy did he ever! if he pulls through, there is a
wonderful lady who wants to adopt him and give him a forever home (with
no toys :-} ). He'll be at the vet's again on Saturday, please, please
keep this kid in your thoughts. he means a lot to mommie and to the rest
of us. he's just so misunderstood.

we found homes for some of our kids this week too. Flora & Fauna went to
a great home. they won't have any brothers or sisters but they have each
other. Chillie went to a home on her own too but she didn't like other
ferrets anyway.

Our little Chudley played a terrible trick on auntie Paige. when she
wasn't looking he broke a full bottle of Tone all over the floor of the
ferret room. when auntie Paige came back into the room, she slipped and
fell and bumped her head because the floor was COVERED with Tone! Chudley
just chuckled and bounced around saying "aren't i cute?!" auntie Paige
wasn't impressed and i'm sure Chudley would have been in a lot of trouble
if he wasn't so cute!

please keep auntie Bonnie & uncle Nigel's kids in your prayers. they
aren't feeling so good. it's nothing too serious but they still need
our well wishes!
