Hi.  I just subscribed to the FML (Well... a few months ago, anyway) and I
hear about AB409, the California bill against ferrets.  I would like to
write to my state senator against this bill, but I don't know who he/she is.
I tried to find the place on the CFL website where you enter your zip code,
but it wasn't on any of the pages.  Are there any Alabama ferret owners out
there who know who our senator is and how I can contact him/her?
 
Another idea for protesting this bill... GET THE WORD OUT ON THE MEDIA!!!
Call you local newspaper and ask them to print an article about it, as well
as including the info about where to contact senators.  If your brave, or at
least have some speaking skills, call your local radio station and ask if
you can speak about AB409 and AB363 (If you do this, get to the library and
read up on these bills, so your well informed).* -Natalie
