Gracie was one of many biters who found her way to me through the local
ferret club. After many treats and bitten hands she finally settled
down and mostly just grabbed if there was a point to be made.

Gracie is one of my favorite names. It reminds me of Grace O'Mally the
Irish pirate queen who inherited the biz from her husband. Her life
story so fascinated Queen Elizabeth she pardoned her. Grace O'Mally
died in her own bed on her estate. A very rare event for a pirate.

We have Gracie's guestimated age at 6. For along time she lived in the
biter cage with like minded ferrets who needed special handling. When
she got sick we moved her to a sick cage. After that she refused to
live with anyone, including former cagemates.

Gracie loved her toys. She kepted a stash of stuffed animals in her
pop box (aka the nesting box) and never let anyone come near them. Her
favorite toy was a kong she took everywhere and wouldn't let anyone
near.
