The FML has hopefully saved my baby Herman's life. Thanks to the information
on how some ferrets suffer anaphylactic shock from Fervac I had the vet back
into the room within 20 seconds of the first sign of something being wrong and
she injected him with cortisone ASAP. Unlike most ferrets he didn't come round
immediately and it took two more injections (one more of cortisone and another
of benadryl) before he was stable. Unfortunately he suffered from quite a bit
of bleeding from his capillaries. However our vet is great and took Herman home
with her last night to keep an eye on him. Hopefully we will pick him up today.

Our vet said that if we hadn't got to Herman so fast he wouldn't have made it.
And the reason he should be OK is all due to the FML.

So I say keep the FML just like it is because who knows which bit of
information might save your carpet shark's life. :)
