Hey all. I recently mentioned my fert, Edie, who's now losing weight after
surgery and the discovery of major ulceration in her tummy. She's such a
finicky critter, though. Anybody have any suggestions of food or stuff that
will help either stimulate her appetite or put weight on? I'm beginning to
really worry about her. She doesn't seem to be recovering like she should.
Thanks!

Also, I have a question for some of you that receive the Ferret-Adventures
Mailing List. I read it and think it's great, but I've been having problems
with it...several times when I've tried to open the list to read it, it has
locked up my computer. I'm reluctant to unsubscribe, but I was wondering if
it was just happening to me. Any advice from a technically minded person
out there about how to remedy the problem on my end???

Oh yeah, and just as an aside to the poster who wondered about MF ferrets
(don't worry, I'm not plunging into the debate) and how large their male
fert might get...we only have one MF male that's made it over 3 lbs...and
boy, is Bilbo a huge, fluffy, friendly guy. Most of the other MF guys we
have are about 2.5 lbs, though, more of the whippet-build. If you happen to
get a big guy, though, they almost always seem to have very sweet, laid back
personalities from what I've seen from mine & other people's ferts.

Thanks for all the help!
Later.

can conduct electricity through their noses to their peoples who will make a
charming "ouch" sound if they shuffle diligently through the carpet!
