Free pet exams offered during food drive    March 16, 2007

The Pet Clinic is offering free exams for dogs, cats, birds, rodents,
rabbits and ferrets with donations of 10 pounds or more of people
food.

The Salem vet clinic is offering the deal for the Salem-Keizer area
Rotary Club food drive. All exams must be scheduled, and the exams
must be made before April 15. They are for Mondays-Fridays only.

Food donations must be dropped by April 4. The Rotary club is seeking
canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter, reduced-sugar foods, soup,
chili, tuna, macaroni and cheese, pasta, tomato sauce, sugar, flour,
cooking oil and rice.

The clinic is at 4089 State St. For an appointment, call (503)

Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic offered by Dept. of Health

The Putnam County Department of Health is sponsoring a free Rabies
Vaccination Clinic at the South Putnam Animal Hospital on 230B Baldwin
Place Road in Mahopac on Saturday, March 24, 2007 from 3-5pm. Bring
your dogs, cats and ferrets! Please bring proof of Putnam County
residency and proof of prior rabies vaccination, tags are not
acceptable.
