Charlee and Masque and all the ferret-lovers out there!

My name is Brooke and my ferret's name is Jezebel, Jezzie for short. I am a
student at Michigan Technological University, and have been wondering if
there are other ferret owners in Michigan that subscribe to this list, too.
This is the first time I have written, but I have been reading for about 3
weeks now. I loved the poem that was written about another Jezebel, and I
was so touched and felt so bad for her owner when I read that she had
crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I hope that her owner isn't offended, but my
Jezzie has her name because of that wonderful poem. You see, Jezebel was
her name when I got her, I had thought of changing it to Sasha, but when I
read the poem it just described exactly the way I felt about her.

Jezzie has a ferret-friend here at school that she plays with, his name is
Killian. Charlee, where are you from? Michigan Tech is in the Upper
Peninsula, Houghton to be exact.

Jezzie is going to the vet for the first time today. She is getting her
second distemper vaccination. I plan to ask for the Fromm-D or Galaxy-D
type. I got Jezzie from a previous owner, who said she was purchased at a
pet store in Wisconsin...(no specifics on what town or what store). There
weren't any papers with her, but I know that she is spayed and has had her
first set of shots. She is almost 5 months old and is a brown sable, (I
hope my terminology is correct :) ) She is such a little monster! I am sure
that she will be a member of the FLO organization soon! Her friend Killian
has taught her to dig in plants, sleep in dresser drawers, and bite toes
already! The curious thing about her is that she hates Ferretone, if you
rub some on her little face she just rubs it off on the floor as soon as you
let her down. Any suggestions? Oh yeah, she has a little blue dot shaped
tatoo in her right ear... Does anyone know what breeder marks their ferrets
in that way?

Thanks for listening!
Brooke and Jezzie (I can't wait to hear from Masque! Mom, I am going to
get your toes!)
