Hello, My family and I have been considering adopting a ferret for a
while now.  We know relatively little about them (other than what we
can read).  My kids and I would like to be able to spend some time with
one/some in our area (Sacramento area) to get a better idea of what
we're considering getting into (from an owner/s).  We're not going to be
long term California residents, so eventually the legal issues are not
matters I'm terribly concerned about, although I have lots of questions
about them in the mean time.  I'd appreciate any help I can get.  Thanks
