I have seen pictures of ferret cages and ares decked out in matching
beds. I like them. I wanted a matching set. About a month ago, I went
to the store and found this fluffy blue material on sale and bought
five yards. I also bought some matching blue ribbon. I made a matching
set of tubes, hammocks, and sleep sacks. The ferrets approved, but more
importantly, the husband approved.

Since the husband liked them, he was on board when I wanted to make
another set. He helped pick out the fabric, red with little black
hearts and dots around them making heart-paws. It's super cute. I got
some black ribbon and made the red collection (tubes, hammocks, sleep
sacks, ...).

So, now I have a matching set and a backup set for when one set is in
the washing cycle.

Which brings me to my point. I have probably a hundred beds that my
daughter and I have made, adapted, and bought over the years. While
they don't match, many are cool. For instance, I'd get a dog bed on
clearance and sew a fleece flap over the top so the ferrets could hide
in it. Then I'd sew straps on the back so I could tie it to the cage
and they couldn't drag it into their litter box.

So, does anyone want any beds? They'd be totally free. I'll even pay
for shipping. (My alternative is to let them rot in my basement for
years.) I just need an address.
