Oh darn! I was just walking my ferret along the River Ouse in York,
North Yorkshire today (Saturday 28 July) and as always had to talk
with several people about ferrets. I claimed that ferrets (well, the
American domestic type) would not be able to live in the wild. Oops.

Very interesting to hear about the wild colony. Please keep us
updated :) As someone that once lived in California though with
my two ferrets I'm really not looking forward to this adding to
the "dangerous to natural wildlife" debate.
