hi friends,
well ferret math has finally struck our house!  i've been waiting a while
for this.
 
some background... my ferret murphy HATES other ferrets.  he loves his two
cats, but he hates ferrets.  i on the other hand wanted more ferrets, so i
decided that it would be ok to have two seperate playgroups.
 
on saturday, i drug murphy to kim's kista shelter.  he got some lovins from
kim and then sulked in his taxi all day because i had the nerve to drag him
to this place with all the... gasp... ferrets.
 
i got to help kim clean cages and even got to see a tiny little girl get
adopted into a wonderful family.  all of kim's ferrets are happy and
playful.  bundles of fuzzy joy.
 
as for me, many ferrets tugged on my heart, but none more than jinx and
guapo.  jinx is a small champagne girl from the christmas rescue and is
probably from the same litter as kim's beautiful boy dolemite!  guapo is
a dark-eyed white male that weighed less than an 12oz. soda when kim
first got him in.  i adopted them and renamed them peyton and potter
respectively, although they'll keep their kista names as nicknames.
 
so far murphy seems to be happy with his new brother and sister, just so
long as they're not all out at the same time.  i'd love to integrate them
together, but i doubt that i will ever be able to, although i will take
cues from murphy.  as long as he's happy, i'm not going to push anything
on him.
