Years and years ago sweet oil was recommended to me for my own ears ...
turns out it's just regular old olive oil.  Perhaps more filtered than
"virgin" olive oil, but that's what it was.
 
By the way, my ferrets will go for olive oil just as enthusiastically as
the FerretTone. Maybe that's what they use for a base?
