Hello,
It's been about a week from my last post and things are looking good.  Our
four surviving ferrets are off meds, eating on their own, and gaining
weight.  They are loose at night in the bedroom and raising he** as only
they can.  All four are showing an attachment to us like never before (I
guess from all the hand feeding through this long crisis).
 
Dutchess has finally moved into the main ferret cage, which she did on her
own without our incouragement.  One night she went into the main cage and
slept in one of the hammocks, and she threw a fit when we tried to move her
back to her cage in the morning!  The crew still looks for the other three
when ever they have the run of the house.
 
Demon is still sorely missed by Dee and I.  We have discussed getting
another albino male sometime around Christmas.  We figure it should be
thoroughly safe from ECE by then.  We really miss his handsome face in
the crew!
 
To all who sent encouragement and advice; thankyou SOOO much.  To all with
wizzles who are sick or who have passed on we send our prayers.  We have
finally reached the light at the end of the tunnel!!!
