Shirley asked:

>So how do the locals pronounce St Louis?

All the people from Missouri that I know say "Saint Loo-iss." Living in
Missouri, I know the state is pronounced "Misery," as in "I live in a
State of Misery."

"To dream of a pole-cat signifies salacious scandels. To inhale the
odor of a pole-cat on your clothes, or otherwise smell one, you will
find that your conduct will be considered rude, and your affairs will
prove unsatisfactory. To kill one, denotes that you will overcome
formidable obstacles." Gustavus Miller 1901 What's In A Dream: A
Scientific and Practical Interpretation of Dreams.
