Lisa.

Please forgive me, I hope I'm not offending you with this question,
but...you had an sonogram done , right? What were the results of that?
The reason I ask is that, Many years ago, I had a ferret, Smokey, who
followed almost the same scenario as your Gus. One Tenn. panel, NO.
One sonogram, NO. Another Tenn. panel, NO. Another sonogram, YES!
It took over a year and a half to a diagnosis, to confirm his physical
symptoms. He wasn't as bald as Gus, but he had lost quite a lot of fur.
Now PLEASE don't think that I am telling you that your Gus has Adrenal.
Lord knows these wonderful creatures that we have been blessed with,
don't always do things by the book. I guess what I am saying is just
follow your gut. No, you're not a vet(are you???), although, I think
we all could be good fert vets if we live with ferrets long enough!!
But you know yer fert better than anyone .

I know that this must be very hard for you to watch, and even harder for
poor Gus. Have you tried Childrens dye free Benadryl?. It works well
for my Sammy's allergy cough and I've used it for Adrenal itching as
well. I have even been so desperate as to use an oatmeal bath.for severe
Adrenal itching.(being careful that he snack on any during his bath!!)
Oh, is Gus getting implants?

I hope you find an answer soon. It's so hard to watch our babies suffer.
You sound like such a good mom, I'm sure you're doing everything possible
to get an answer. And I'm sure you're doing everything you possibly can
to keep you're sweet Gus comfortable.

We will keep Gus and you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dooks,
Sue & Crew
