I am doing my own little recall here. I used a product called Glucerna
(a protein drink for diabetics) in my version of Duck Soup along with
chicken baby food and Science Diet A/D. The Glucerna was my replacement
for the Boost protein since my ferret had low blood glucose and needed
higher protein. It had seemed to work for Mikette and slowly raised her
BG over the year she was given the soup. Unfortunately, I shared this
recipe version to ferret owners who posted about ferrets with low BG. In
the last few months Mikette has had a problem with fat in her blood, my
vet thinks it is from the Glucerna I used in the duck soup. Fructose is
one of the first ten ingredients. I don't know how I made this mistake
and am horrified that I suggested it to others!!!!!

I sincerely apologize to anyone I recommended this to. I hope if anyone
followed my bad example that they see this post.
