Dear FML,
I want to thank all of the patient and tolerant people who sent me e-mail.
I posted twice in the last few weeks.  Mostly panicky as a new ferret owner.
I asked questions that are answered in the FAQ.  I have since ordered and
printed the FAQ.  I am about halfway through reading the thing.  I only know
that the people who e-mailed me directly and helped to calm my new ferret
parent panic did myself and my ferrets a huge favor.  A special thank you to
you, you know who you are.  :]
 
I want to mention a toy that I would never have bought for my ferrets, but
that they have discovered.  I have an electric fountain.  It is a miniature
of the type that you see in outdoor gardens.  I received it as a Christmas
gift from my Godfather.  I considered it a sort of white elephant until I
got my ferrets.  It is electric and has a little angel that pours water into
a small bowl at its feet.  The ferrets LOVE it.  I had to move it to the
floor.  They were climbing everything in sight and trying to fly like
superman to get to it.  They spend alot of time trying to bite the water
coming out of the vase.  They also prefer drinking out of this fountain to
their water dishes.
 
Many thanks to all of the kind hearts out there who comforted me in my new
ferret parent fears.  I don't know what I would have done without you, or if
my ferrets would still be here without the help you sent to us.
