One of the largest premier ferret shows in the United States, The Ferret
Buckeye Bash will be conducted this Saturday, August 28. The show is
presented by the Heart of Ohio Ferret Association and Rescue and
sanctioned by the American Ferret Association.

The show will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Hall, 300 W. Broad St.
in downtown Columbus, Ohio. The doors will be open to the general public
from 10:00 AM to 5.00 PM. This is a show you will not want to miss.
Ferret breeders form Washington State to Florida and all points in
between will there to show their ferrets. Over 300 ferrets will be
competing for top honors in championship and various specialty classes
totaling over 450 entries. Most of the top breeders in the US are
entered in this show.

VIP's will be the famous Bob Church and Kim Schilling the author of
Ferrets For Dummies. So if you have a question about ferrets, they are
the people that are "In The Know." If you want to rub shoulders with the
top breeders in the US and see a lot of awesome ferrets, come on out and
join in on the fun.

There will be four Championship Classes including Adolescent, Breeder,
Alter and Companion Pet. There will be fifteen Specialty classes and two
Premier classes. Also there will be fun events for ferrets to compete in
and raffles held throughout the day. If you are looking for a quality
ferret this is the place to purchase one. There will be several breeders
with young kits for placement.

Many vendors will be attending with lots of items you will not find in
pet stores and at very reasonable prices. So if you are looking for
that new special toy, sleep sack or that new cage for your ferret, this
is the place to buy them. It is the "Shopping Mall for everything
fuzzie". You will find a huge selection of items presented for sale by
shelter and rescues, so your shopping spree can also benefit all those
shelter/rescues that help our homeless and lost pets.

We certainly hope you can come out and join the fun and we are looking
forward to seeing everyone.
