I gave up looking for a good ferret collar. I bought a package of round
elastic cord from Wal-Mart's sewing section and some half inch split rings
(Bigger ones are used for key chains)and some bells. I put a bell on the
split ring then run the elastic cord thru it. I put that around the
ferrets neck and tie a knot so it is just skin tight. I clip the ends off
leaving them a bit long because the cord stretches and you have to re-tie
it after 2-3 weeks. After it is re-tied you can clip the ends off short.
Once in a great while I find a collar caught on the door of the cage or
around the tunnel, but mostly they stay on and can be pulled right off if
your ferret gets it caught.
